www.utechristinphotography.comWelcome to my website! I have designed this site to share my background, research, and teaching experience with you. On this site, you can learn more about my previous and current research projects, as well as future endeavors. In addition, I included materials for courses that I taught as the instructor of record (Abnormal Psychology) and an abbreviated statement describing my teaching philosophy.

About me
I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, my pre-doctoral internship at the Southwest Consortium in Albuquerque, NM, and a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. As of Fall 2022, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mental Health Law & Policy at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

Broadly speaking, my research centers on the mechanisms that underlie the association between psychopathology and romantic relationship functioning. Specifically, my ongoing projects (Spring 2022) focus on the processes whereby substance use contributes to relationship discord and intimate partner violence among underserved and diverse couples (e.g. LGTBQIA persons, older adults, substance use patients).
